Wallcovering Reclamation Program
The OMNOVA Wallcovering Reclamation Program is a key component in our commitment to help build a more sustainable world. Through this program, we recover fabric-backed vinyl wallcovering materials — regardless of the manufacturer — as well as wallcoverings made with ECORE™ Advanced Wall Technology from renovation and reconstruction projects for recycling into new building materials. Our objective is to divert scrap and post-use wallcovering material from entering overburdened landfills.
Participation in our Reclamation Program is simple, straightforward and can contribute toward LEED credits. To join our efforts to help create a sustainable future, just follow the four steps outlined below.

Customer plans to remove old vinyl wallcovering and contacts Distributor to determine if material is eligible for OMNOVA Reclamation Program.
Distributor gathers details about installation and provides necessary information to OMNOVA using the Return Form (at right). No advance sample is required.
IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Customer must place an order for new OMNOVA-manufactured wallcovering.
- Wallcovering must not exhibit signs of visible mold or other contaminants.
- Wallcovering must be fabric-backed vinyl or ECORE construction.*

After receiving Return Form from Distributor, we will prepare and send return labels and packaging materials to Customer. |

Customer packages wallcovering for recycling according to the Program Checklist (at right).
Installation trim, scrap and unused materials from the new installation also can be returned for recycling in addition to the used or removed wallcovering.
Customer then ships material — at its own expense — to OMNOVA.

After receiving materials, we analyze material to determine its disposition.
POSSIBLE MATERIAL DISPOSITIONS:
- Recycle into production of new wallcovering with RECORE Recycled Wall Technology.*
- Recycle into other OMNOVA-manufactured building products, such as shower pan liner or roof flashing.
- If analysis finds mold or other contaminants, product will be landfilled.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Upon request, OMNOVA will provide a letter describing the disposition of the reclaimed material.
