Eco-Friendly 3D Laminates.
EFX™ (pronounced: e-fex) 3D Laminates by OMNOVA Solutions are a new environmentally preferred surfacing alternative to traditional 3D laminates. EFX 3D Laminates exhibit the same functional and decorative characteristics as OMNOVA's surf(x)® 3D Laminates and can be membrane-pressed or vacuum-formed to contoured surface profiles. Their dimensional flexibility eliminates the need for T-molding, edge banding, visible seams and special edge treatments.
EFX 3D Laminates provide our highest level of durability. With added impact, mar and abrasion resistance, as well as improved stain resistance, they are suitable for use on many horizontal surfaces, such as counters, tabletops and work surfaces.
The EFX Laminates portfolio currently includes four stock solid colors with additional solids available as MAKE-TO-ORDER. Print and woodgrain offerings will be introduced later in 2009.

- Four solid colors are available in STOCK and are available in low minimum order quantities for shipment typically within two business days.
- Additional solid colors are available as MAKE-TO-ORDER and are not maintained in inventory.
- Prints and woodgrains will be available in 3Q 2009 as MAKE-TO-ORDER.

Though our laminates can be used in many applications, all laminates are sold with the understanding that customers will make their own independent determination whether a particular laminate has the durability and other performance attributes required for the specific end use laminate application – not all laminates are suitable for all applications.
