OMNOVA’s Performance Chemicals business unit is a leading innovator of emulsion polymers and specialty chemicals used as binders, coatings, adhesives and additives that provide your
products with significant performance features. Depending on the application, advantages might include greater gloss, strength, opacity, durability, printability, flexibility, cleanability, and flow and leveling properties. Our diverse markets include paper and carpet-making, nonwovens, construction, textiles, tire cord, floor care, tape and label, to name a few.

The Performance Chemicals business unit is headquartered in Fairlawn, Ohio, and comprises about half of OMNOVA Solutions’ annual sales. Five plants, two technology centers, a pilot plant and a pilot paper coater are strategically located in the United States for your convenience and optimum efficiency. In addition, there are Performance Chemicals business offices and manufacturing capabilities in Europe and Asia.
